I am deadly serious. The least you can reasonably demand to get for the prices advertised on Car Hire Companies’ Web Sites, without paying for *any* optional extras, is a car that is in full conformance with ALL legal requirements of the law. It is MANDATORY in Germany to have Winter Tyres on cars during the winter months. ALL Car Rental companies I have found so far are advertising their prices exclusive of Winter Tyres, which are then listed as “optional extras”. Something that is mandatory, something that you can be fined for not having on the car you drive, is NOT an “optional extra”. It should be included in the price. If anybody knows of an HONEST car rental company in the vicinity of Düsseldorf Airport, that will NOT try and pull a fast one by quoting a price that doesn’t include everything that is required, let me know. I’ll even post another video praising you for your honest way of doing business. See it as “free advertising”. This is absolutely despicable.
